About Me

Lynn Polizzi, LCSW

I am a clinically trained graduate of Columbia University and a New York Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years experience. I am committed to your well-being by using holistic, solution focused, short term therapy, cognitive behavioral and energy healing techniques in my psychotherapy practice.  We will map out the future you desire and then work collaboratively to develop a series of steps that will help you achieve your goals.  I am a Mental Health Integrative Medical Provider (utilizing diet, exercise, supplements and other natural interventions for optimal mental health) and a Gottman trained couple's therapist.

Have you tried other forms of traditional therapy to only be right back where you started?  Let’s figure out what works well and expand on that.  Let’s not waste years in therapy but instead come up with a concrete plan to make real long lasting changes. Finally, let’s add in non-traditional energy modalities, meditation and the practice of daily gratitude to help you heal.   Let’s rewrite your narrative and create a new story for you that is rewarding, fulfilling and peaceful.

Additionally, I have an extensive medical background and sub-specialize in working with individuals struggling with chronic illnesses and degenerative diseases.  I’m a patient advocate for individuals struggling with Parkinson’s and dystonia and Founder of the Long Island Parkinson’s Support Network and Pretty PowHERful Parkinson’s on Facebook.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals!
